Joey & Casey’s unforgettable Commonwealth Cambridge Wedding was complete with a Boston ceremony, a ride on the MBTA and skyline views during golden hour. These two grooms were the perfect combination of style and sass, which may be why it felt like the best day ever. My favorite part of their wedding day was when Joey & Casey helped each other get ready. Between the floral patterned bowtie, Joey using his grandfather’s wedding band as his own, and the cutest boutineers, I was full with joy the second I walked into their hotel room. I immediately knew their wedding was going to be both sentimental and sweet.
The ceremony took place at First Parish in Cambridge which also made for the perfect backdrop for family photos. Thanks to Joey, we were constantly checking the weather channel app to make sure the skies wouldn’t open up during our portrait session. The rain showers luckily held off until after the ceremony, but with a bulk order of umbrellas and the T across the street, guests were able to easily travel from the church to the venue.
Family and friends traveled near and far to show their love and support for Joey & Casey on their wedding day. Between grad school friends, fraternity brothers, high school friends and the best dancing crew I’ve seen from DC, the Commonwealth was full of good vibes and laughter. It was ehard to pull me off the dance floor at the end of the night because I just didn’t want it to end!
Congratulations, Casey & Joey! I can’t wait to see where your journey takes you next.
