If you’re dreaming of a wedding that feels effortlessly coastal yet elevated, a Tedesco Country Club wedding offers a uniquely refined setting on the North Shore.
Tucked into the seaside town of Marblehead, this private club blends sweeping golf course views with classic New England architecture. This combination makes this venue an ideal backdrop for couples who want a celebration that feels both relaxed and polished.
Why Choose Tedesco Country Club for Your Wedding
One of the most compelling aspects of Tedesco is its versatility. While some couples opt for a traditional church ceremony nearby, you can have your ceremony onsite. The club truly shines as a reception venue – especially for alfresco cocktail hours and tented celebrations.
This particular wedding took place over Labor Day weekend, which set the tone for a full, immersive wedding weekend. The couple hosted a welcome party at a private waterfront home in Marblehead before transitioning into a reception at Tedesco that felt equal parts coastal and classic.
The result was a seamless guest experience that embraced everything the North Shore has to offer.
A Tented Reception with Coastal Elegance
The reception was held beneath a beautifully designed sailcloth tent, set against the lush green of the golf course. Cocktail hour unfolded alfresco, allowing guests to move naturally between indoor and outdoor spaces.
Design-wise, the aesthetic leaned into understated coastal details. Think soft textures, a natural color palette with pops of blue and intentional, elevated touches throughout.
A live band brought incredible energy to the evening, while a curated cigar bar added a layered, experiential element for guests.
Wedding Portraits at Tedesco Country Club
From a photography perspective, Tedesco Country Club offers a surprising amount of variety.
The golf course itself creates a clean, expansive backdrop that feels timeless in photographs. Some of my favorite portraits from the day were taken just before sunset. The light softened across the greens and everything took on that warm, golden tone.
Incorporating the golf cart added a playful feel to the gallery, while portraits near the tent helped anchor the story of the day in the reception space itself.
For couples getting ready off-site, you also have the opportunity to layer in a completely different visual setting. This also adds depth and variety to the final gallery.
Planning a Marblehead Wedding Weekend
One of the biggest advantages of getting married at Tedesco is its location within Marblehead.
This is a town that naturally lends itself to a full wedding weekend experience. From welcome parties on the water to post-wedding brunches, everything feels cohesive and intentional without requiring extensive travel.
Couples who choose this area are often drawn to its balance of coastal beauty and historic charm. This is what makes Marblehead especially appealing for destination weddings within New England.
