Emily + Lucas exchanged vows during an intimate micro-wedding with family on Nantucket this September. Despite it not being their original wedding location or date, it was the most perfect fairytale day. It felt like plan B was always meant to be.
When I arrived on Nantucket that morning, I knew it was going to be a perfect September day. The sun was shining and there wasn’t a cloud in sight. Their Serena & Lily inspired AirBnB made for the perfect getting ready location. As the girls got ready upstairs, Lucas and the men relaxed downstairs. They even pulled out a few grey ladies to help celebrate in style.
As large weddings and events are being moved to 2021, I love how intimate these celebrations are becoming. Emily’s mom and sisters helped her into her stunning Allegria Bridal gown right before we headed to first look. E+L joked they were both having a good hair day when they first saw each other. The backyard was a stunning location both for their dinner party & portraits.
Miacomet Beach was quiet & serene, which was perfect for their ceremony. After they exchanged rings, we celebrated with Veuve, family portraits and stopping by a few iconic Nantucket hot spots. My favorite was Emily’s grandparents’ home, which has been passed down through generations.
Congratulations, Mr. & Mrs. Lints! It was an honor to island hop with you and I can’t wait to celebrate again next year!
