Tnisha + Stan exchanged vows during an intimate Martha’s Vineyard backyard wedding this past September. Like many brides in 2020, this wasn’t their original plan. However, when Tnisha discovered that her grandmother got married at the very same family home in 1947, it felt like it was almost meant to be!
September 26 was a beautiful fall day on the Vineyard. When I arrived to the getting ready location, I was greeted by the two sweetest little helpers, K + A. They helped me collect all the beautiful wedding details to be photographed. This included family heirloom jewelry and a monogrammed blush Mrs. Box. After Tnisha slipped into her gown from Alexandra’s Bridal Boutique, it was time for their first look!
While Stan may be a bit stoic, I loved the way he looked at Tnisha when he first saw her in her dress! These two walked hand in hand as we explored Oak Bluffs searching for the cutest gingerbread house. Eventually we made our way to a cute path near the water for a few romantic portraits before the ceremony.
Their celebration may have been in a different capacity than what they initially imagined. However, the love shared that day was anything but micro. Congratulations, Tnisha + Stan! It was an honor to capture your first day as Mr. & Mrs.!
