In honor of their one year anniversary, I am sharing Sarah and Sean’s destination wedding in Spain! Their modern, citrus-filled wedding was full of beautiful details that were both purposeful & sentimental.
The bride and groom exchanged their vows during a completely spanish-speaking catholic ceremony. It was actually the very same church Sean was baptized in. Their wedding day fell on Sarah’s parent’s 39th wedding anniversary and they traded in a traditional wedding cake for a Croquembouche. This creme puff cake was also at Seans’ parent’s and sister’s very own weddings. A rose petal exit with a spanish bagpipe band, along with a vintage getaway car were just a few of the highlights from their day. Their custom wedding invitations were also in english & spanish. It even included a gold foil map of the coastal region that corresponded with the weekend’s events. The reception space at Pazo de Cea was adorned with orange trees both inside and out. It made for the perfect backdrop for portraits.
Happy Anniversary S+S! Your beautiful Spain wedding was nothing short of a fairytale and it was an honor to travel with you to celebrate your big day!
