My 2018 wedding season was kicked off with one of the sweetest couples I know! It’s crazy to think that it was almost a year ago when I first sat down with Laurie + Jon to talk about their plans for their big day. Friends and family were traveling near and far for this long awaited wedding. When I first arrived to Birch Wood Vineyards, I could immediately hear the excited chatter coming from the bridal suite. It was to no surprise when I found a room full of girls finishing up their hair and makeup as they anxiously waited to see how the next few hours would unfold.
A few of my favorite moments were when Laurie’s mom and sister helped finish buttoning and fluffing her dress. Also, the emotional first look with Laurie’s dad brought tears to everyone’s eyes, including my own. There were numerous bets on when Jon would shed his first tear. However, his smile was so big that it spanned from ear to ear all day long. It was hard for anyone to notice anything else! Also, a special appearance from their two super fluffy (and super cute) dogs, Bear & Belle, was the icing on top of the cake.
Congratulations Laurie & Jon! You are officially married and it couldn’t have been more picture perfect.
