A Tented Nantucket Wedding

Amanda and Matt’s tented Nantucket wedding embraced the natural beauty of the island for a celebration with understated coastal elegance. Built over 100 years ago, their venue, the Westmoor Club, held a delightful vintage charm with a quaint countryside feel. The couple designed their letterpress stationery and signage with vintage-inspired fonts and playful graphics to represent the weekend’s events. For a beachy first look, A&M made their way down a wooden stairway. Their stunning portraits took place at the point where the wild grasses met the sand.

A fluffy arbor for the ceremony was covered in baby’s breath at the end of a flower-petal scattered aisle outdoors. Amanda’s Carolina Herrera gown included an oversized bow detail along the back, which added movement to her fit and flare silhouette. Bridesmaids wore dresses in a mix of aesthetically pleasing blues. The groom and his groomsmen looked dapper in black tuxedos.

This light and effortless island feel made its way to a clear tented reception. Plumes of baby’s breath and disco balls were suspended from above the guests. Tiny floral arrangements sat on each wooden table in an array of mismatched but coordinating flowers and soft neutrals. Later in the night, Amanda let down her chignon and made an outfit change. The chic column dress with rhinestone detail and a feathered hem was perfect for when the couple to take a few sultry dockside photos.
