“I’m so glad I live in a world where there are Octobers” – L.M. Montgomery
Fall weather brings scarves, boots, pumpkin spiced lattes, weekends full of football, and apple picking. I can’t imagine a world without these things nor can I imagine going an entire season without stopping by the apple orchard at least once. This past Columbus Day weekend, I made a trip to Bowmans, one of my favorite orchards in Upstate, NY. However, my apple picking skills were lacking this year because I was too busy snapping pictures of every perfect apple I passed. It was a struggle to fill an entire bushel without being distracted by the beautiful golden light and fresh crisp air. After all the apples were picked, I topped off the most perfect morning with a cider doughnut.
