BROOKYLN, NEW YORK
When Renee called me earlier this year to ask me a business question, the last thing I would have thought was her asking me if I wanted to photograph her wedding. I immediately said YES! I can’t even count the number of times I have said that I wanted to get into wedding photography but every summer would pass by and I would put it on the backburner. This year was different… and I have Renee to thank for that!
Everything about Renee and Jon’s day was pure perfection. From the flowers to the amazingly awesome matching floral bridesmaid dresses, I was in love with each and every detail. Having never traveled outside of Manhattan when I visit NYC, I was eager to experience my first trip to Brooklyn. The Brooklyn Bridge and Jane’s Carousel made for a stunning backdrop and a whole lot of fun right before the ceremony. Then Renee and Jon had a vintage cab drive them from the church to the reception. How neat is that?! OH and having food trucks cater the wedding along with doughnuts for dessert made this the most trendy wedding ever. My heart has never been so full of love as it was the day I captured two of my favorite people getting married while surrounded by all of their friends and family. Thank you again Renee and Jon for including me in your big day!
