Be prepared to be swept away. This dreamy Château de Ferrières wedding editorial is full of romance and history. The luxurious 19th-century château was a frequent host to lavish parties in the 1960s and ’70s. These parties were personally designed by designers such as Yves Saint Laurent. While the guests were the likes of Brigitte Bardot and Audrey Hepburn.
This team of talented wedding professionals wanted to inspire couples to create their own dream destination wedding at this infamous estate. They drew inspiration from the property itself. The modern Edwardian design uses a lovely springtime color palette of soft blues and butter yellows. Textiles and texture were also infused, which helped create a lavish look. The bride wore a stunning lace gown from Costarellos. The second bridal look has a modern floral bonnet. This was inspired by the remarkable headdresses designed for the celebrities and socialites from the 1960s. Even Audrey Hepburn herself would have loved this statement piece.
