Emma Willard School & Franklin Plaza Wedding | Francesca + James

There was no better way to ring in 2019 than by celebrating Francesca & James’ New Years Eve wedding. Friends and family traveled near and far to celebrate this new beginning and their fun & festive Franklin Plaza reception surely didn’t disappoint.

A magical chapel ceremony, complete with bridal party portraits on a campus full of cathedral-like buildings made their December wedding day feel like a dream. A few of my favorite moments from the day were of James and his friends enjoying a few drinks and laughs while getting ready in downtown Troy. Francesca, on the other hand, slipped into her Lee Petra Grebenau gown at her parent’s home. Once wedding prep came to an end, we all met at the enchanting Emma Willard’s campus. Not only was it picture perfect for their first look and ceremony, but it was the same campus where Francesca attended high school. Even their guests were in awe as they arrived! F&J’s nuptials were sealed with a kiss followed by celebrations & clinking of glasses at the elegant Franklin Plaza. Once the party officially started, this lively crowd danced the night away thanks to Body & Soul.
